{Dress: Target; Shoes: Calvin Klein; Sweater: J. Crew Jenna Sweater}

Running out of the door, almost late to work, with dirty hair and not a whole lot of time is probably not one of the better times to snap a fashion photo to share on your blog, is it? But this little dress I snapped up last week from Target for $24 was too good not to share with you all. In the past, I’ve made a bunch of unwise clothing purchases at Target. All those cheap t-shirts and tank tops? I should have bought something a little higher quality that would have lasted longer. And countless pairs of cheap shoes? Cute, but they didn’t last very long and ended up being a huge waste of money.

On the other hand, I’ve found a few dresses (mainly those made with polyester!) that have been in my closet for quite a while and I’ve gotten more wears out of them than I ever thought I would. After owning this dress fir a week now, I’ve already used it as both a pool coverup and a dress for work. That, my friends, is a win-win.

    I love this dress! I think I remember seeing it a couple weeks ago. The colors are so cute and you totally pull it off for work. Dresses and cardigans have become my summer staple!! Glad to know it’s good quality too!

    I bought the same dress! I didn’t even think about making it work appropriate by throwing a cardigan over it like you did! I agree, I’ve bought some dresses there over the past two years that have held up and are perfect for summer work clothes.
