Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit Giveaway

September 8, 2015

AinsleyMerlin copy

Hi, friends! I have an exciting giveaway for you all today. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that the Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit was one of my must-have baby products for the first handful of months. I wasn’t kidding when I said that it made all the difference in how Ainsley slept. That girl didn’t like having her arms swaddled, and the Baby Merlin was just comforting enough to help her sleep without causing frustration from not being able to move. Well, the Baby Merlin team contacted me and asked if I thought my readers would be interested in a chance to win a Merlin’s Sleep Suit of their very own. Of course I said yes!

Maybe you’re a new mom, a soon-to-be mom, or have a friend who could use this. Enter away below! There are a couple of different ways to enter.

Haven’t had a baby yet, but I know a lot of new mama’s and soon to be mamas who would love this as a gift!

Fun! One of my best product purchases, at least in terms of what Rocco’s liked, is our Baby Bjorn bouncer. He gets rocked in that thing at least once a day. And I didn’t really purchase it because it was a gift. : )

Also awaiting our first, so I am not sure what will come in most handy. I’ve heard great things about this suit though and would love to try it!

Baby is due in October! Most excited for my wrap but who knows what this kiddo will like or dislike!

Our baby girl will be 7 weeks on Friday…anything that will help her sleep longer than 3 hours at a time is a win in my book. I’ll try anything these days!!

I’ve heard great things about the magic sleep suit from another mother, but have yet to try it-I’d love to win! Being a mother of 3, with my youngest being 5 weeks,; I’d say my favorite items for the first year have been my BOB revolution duallie jogging stroller, a baby carrier-I like my Solly baby wrap (I prefer this for the first few months) or my baby bjorn and the aden and anais bamboo swaddles:)

  • Reply Emily September 9, 2015 at 10:46 am

Sounds like a good option when the swaddle isn’t working.

  • Reply Kelsey September 9, 2015 at 10:47 am

Mine would have to be the rock n play! She sleeps like a dream in it! Or the Solly Baby Wrap. So handy for those fussy evening hours!

  • Reply Abby September 9, 2015 at 12:52 pm

Since I didn’t get a sweet changing pad like you have, I have to go with the Boppy changing pad liners as my must have. We have one on the changing pad at all times to keep the cover of the changing pad clean. I also had a basket with wipes, diapers, rash cream and a changing pad liner in it that I carried around the house during the day so I could change baby where ever we were instead of having to go back upstairs to the nursery every time. It really came in handy for those middle of the night diaper changes where I would put one of the liners on our bed and change her there. We are due with number 2 in January and would love to win a Merlin’s sleep suit!

I’m not a mom but I babysat a handful of times. I would have to say a sound machine is very helpful! It drowns out noises and it soothes the baby to sleep!

  • Reply Emilie September 9, 2015 at 1:41 pm

My babies haven’t been born yet but friends swear by any type of white noise machine!

  • Reply Cassie Jensen September 9, 2015 at 1:48 pm

I am due in November with my first child and I have been absorbing all of your wisdom you have been sharing as a new mother! I don’t have any must haves yet!

  • Reply Krista Earl September 9, 2015 at 1:56 pm

Pacifiers! Specifically the MAM start ones for newborns – still Evelyn’s favorite at almost 3 months!

  • Reply Amanda September 9, 2015 at 1:59 pm

A sound machine is my go-to…but this sleep suit looks like a perfect partner with that!

  • Reply ED September 9, 2015 at 2:04 pm

I just found out YESTERDAY that I’m pregnant. I’m going to reread all your motherhood posts because I’ve got a lot to learn before April! So I don’t have any must-haves yet – maybe the Merlin Sleep Suit is it!

  • Reply Kayla September 9, 2015 at 2:06 pm

My go-to is definitely the Ergo!

  • Reply manda September 9, 2015 at 2:11 pm

A baby carrier… whatever works for your family.

  • Reply Sara September 9, 2015 at 2:21 pm

    White noise machine!

  • Reply nswimchic77 September 9, 2015 at 2:22 pm

    A pacifier!

  • Reply Nikki September 9, 2015 at 2:25 pm

Soothie Pacifiers, for all my kids, were a must! Especially with my youngest, who was solely breastfed, this would help keep her calm around daddy so I could get a few things done.

  • Reply jw517 September 9, 2015 at 2:38 pm

    Black out blinds!

  • Reply Amanda September 9, 2015 at 2:51 pm

I am only halfway through my pregnancy, so I guess I’ll find out in about 5 months what I can’t live without. But, I am guessing that some sort of swaddling will be key!

  • Reply Ali September 9, 2015 at 2:53 pm

I don’t have any babies yet, but this looks like it would come in handy for new mommas still getting used to navigating their diaper bags:

  • Reply Sara September 9, 2015 at 2:53 pm

Loved the Nose Frida Snot Sucker!

  • Reply Tiffany Rapp September 9, 2015 at 3:18 pm

New mom with a 2 week old. We are trying to figure out a good nights sleep – so far he loves sleeping in the fisher price rock and play. I’m currently trying swaddle options – would love to win the magic sleep suit!

  • Reply Stephanie R September 9, 2015 at 3:44 pm

Definitely a white noise machine! My two year old still sleeps with it on every night!!!

  • Reply Kate September 9, 2015 at 3:50 pm

This would be perfect for my future niece or nephew. My sister-in-law is pregnant with their first..due in January!

  • Reply Jennifer Siegel September 9, 2015 at 5:26 pm

We love the Rock and Play, but also agree with the sound machine!

  • Reply Amanda Schmidt September 9, 2015 at 5:43 pm

We’re just getting to the point where she’s needs to transition out of
the swaddle so this would be great! My favorite piece of gear so far has
been the Baby Bjorn bouncy chair–for awhile it was like magic to help
her fall asleep and now it’s useful when we’re making dinner. She can
even bounce herself now when she kicks her legs!

  • Reply Michelle September 9, 2015 at 5:47 pm

Wow! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂 I’ve heard awesome things from lots of people about the Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit

  • Reply nicole September 9, 2015 at 6:02 pm

Need one of these for my little man.

  • Reply Valerie September 9, 2015 at 7:08 pm

I’d love to try this swaddle with my little guy! I saw your earlier review on other swaddles and feel like we’ve tried all the same ones– was so disappointed by the Ergo one– boo! Swaddles and a sound machine and a kick and play are definitely top on my list of must haves!

  • Reply Emily @ Perfection Isn't Happy September 9, 2015 at 7:46 pm

I’d love to win this for my baby! She doesn’t like being swaddled with her arms in!

My baby is due this November but one of the first products I bought was a Solly Baby Wrap! I obviously don’t know yet how the baby will take to it but I’m hoping well! I think it would be so nice to be able to wear him out and about and even around the house.

  • Reply Breanna September 10, 2015 at 3:29 pm

We are only 3 weeks in but we love our Aiden and Anais swaddle blankets – good for so many things!

Always been so interested in trying this out!

  • Reply Mallory September 10, 2015 at 4:33 pm

My must have baby product that has been a total game changer for me is the infantino mei tei carrier. By little guy is so calm in it, usually falls asleep in minutes. It allows me to run errands as I need to without him screaming.
That being said, I would love to win this so that he’ll actually nap in his crib instead of in my arms or in the carrier!

  • Reply Megan September 10, 2015 at 8:07 pm

My number one baby product is the Miracle Blanket. That thing is a fricking miracle. I am pregnant with baby number 2 and would love a Merlin suit!

I am a new mama with an 11 week old and we are still trying out swaddles! He has fought the halo sleep sack for weeks now so I finally bought the Swaddle Up and he seems to like it a little bit better. Would love to win the merlin sleep suit to try! Also can’t live without the white noise machine!

  • Reply Lauren September 10, 2015 at 9:08 pm

I’d love to get the sleep suit! We will need lots of items for our first baby especially a pak n play and bouncer and bjourn.

  • Reply Hillary September 11, 2015 at 1:59 am

My son just turned two weeks old! So far, we are loving the rock ‘n play and our sound machine. I would love to try the sleep suit with him.

  • Reply Ashley b September 11, 2015 at 2:13 am

For us, the Rock n Play and Summer brand swaddles have been game changers! Oh and the “hair dryer” sound on the white noise app

  • Reply Katie September 11, 2015 at 5:14 pm

Madison, love the blog! I have a 12 week old and she loves the sleep sack with arms out!
